This project started as a grade 2 listed cottage with detached garage to the side on the south coast. The aim was to give the client a more modern living/kitchen area without detaching from the listed exterior. A waterproof envelope with an Architect specified interior finish has given the interior of the property a more modern living space but keeping the external beauty of this listed cottage.
The external cottage garden has been renewed using traditional York stone paving complimented by the handmade paving bricks and raised borders whilst incorporating flood defences within.
